Walk into any crystal store and you'll be handed a list: amethyst for calm, citrine for money, rose quartz for love. It's tidy, it's easy — and it has almost nothing to do with you.
MyChiGem started somewhere else entirely: inside a Chinese medicine household. Our founder grew up in that tradition — where constitution, season and the way energy moves through a life are ordinary dinner-table vocabulary, not a weekend workshop. He later set down his reading of it in Quest for the Dao of Qinghe: The Six-Dimensional Healing Life Field.
What we took from that tradition is simple: nothing is prescribed in isolation. A stone is not a pill. It means something in relation to the person, the season, and everything else they're carrying.
So we built the rest the other way around. A three-minute reading looks at your constitution, your birth chart and your zodiac — three lenses on the same question — and returns a recipe: which stones, in what proportion, in what order. Then we hand it back to you. Swap a bead. Drop one. Move another. The algorithm gives you a professional starting point; you make the final call.
Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water — in Chinese tradition these describe how things move and change, including moods and seasons. They are not a diagnosis and they are not your fate. We use them the way you'd use a weather report: to notice what's already there.
五行是一面镜子，不是判决书。Any system that tells you what to wear without asking what you want is selling certainty, not craft. Our reading gives you a starting point and then gets out of the way. Every bead can be changed, and the balance meter updates as you go.
配方应该是可以改的。A bracelet you wear for six months beats a ritual you do for six days. That's why we care less about the unboxing and more about whether it still feels right on an ordinary Tuesday.
物件应该比心情活得久。Every piece is made to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for a buyer.

We buy in small lots from a small number of long-standing cutting houses and bead suppliers, and we look at each batch ourselves. That's the whole sourcing policy — small enough to check, small enough to be honest about.
